What We Do
Our Approach
We address immediate needs while empowering communities for lasting change, focusing on each community’s unique strengths and challenges.

Catacamas, Honduras: Unique Challenges
Catacamas is a resilient community facing persistent challenges, including economic hardship, limited access to clean water, healthcare, and education.
Economic Hardships: Over 60% of Honduras lives below the poverty line, with many in Catacamas relying on low-paying jobs (World Bank, 2021).
Water and Sanitation: Over 20% of Catacamas households lack safe drinking water, and 43% of rural communities in Honduras lack sanitation facilities (UNICEF, WHO, 2020).
Healthcare: With only 0.4 doctors per 1,000 people, healthcare is limited and costly, often leading families to delay or forgo medical care (World Bank, 2021).
Educational Barriers: One in five children in Honduras doesn’t complete primary school, especially in rural areas like Catacamas (UNESCO, 2020).
A Growing Impact
- Clean Water: Filtration systems to reduce waterborne illnesses.
- Healthcare: Emergency support for life-saving treatments.
- Education: Support local resources to keep children in school.
We aim to empower Catacamas by building self-sufficiency and resilience.
